Sweet and Spicy Baked Wings and Project 365

I used to watch All My Children. It went off of the air a few years ago. In place of All My Children, ABC has put a show called The Chew in it's place. I love, love, love The Chew. It is a combo of talk show, comedy show, and all about yummy goodness show. On today's show they had a challenge of chicken wings.

So I just happened to have some wings laying around, so I made some too! They are really good, a little bit sweet and little bit spicy. You should try this recipe next time you want some wings!

    Sweet and Spicy Baked Wings
    Ingredients:
    Wing Marinade:
2 dozen chicken drumettes or wings
    1/2 cup olive oil
    1/4 cup rice vinegar
    1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    1/2 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    Dipping Sauce:
1 tablespoon Sambal Chili (I used Sriracha Sauce)
    1/2 cup honey
2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
    1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
    1 teaspoon grated ginger
    Instructions:
Combine all the ingredients in a bowl, toss the wings to coat. Place in the refrigerator for at least two hours, preferably overnight.
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Remove wings from marinade and season with salt and pepper.
Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray and arrange the wings so they are not touching. Brush generously with leftover marinade. Cook in the oven for 40 minutes , or until golden brown, rotating tray half way through.
While the wings are cooking combine all ingredients for the dipping sauce and whisk together. Serve wings with dipping sauce.
